The IT Girl (I Wish!)
M, Y, and A, my lunchmates here in the office, and I had our christmas dinner and "exchanging gifts" mid-December last year. it's so amazing how they all know what to get me and i was so happy that they loved my gifts for them as well.
M doesn't read my blog and i haven't mentioned my wishlist to them save for the usual book titles and shoe size and preferred bag color so there wasn't any chance she had any idea what i really want for christmas. plus, this particular gift i already assigned to the husband because i showed it to him during one of our trips to the mall. so imagine my surprise when i opened M's gift and found this very lovely Belle de Jour planner! and what's funny was that when she handed me the gift, she was saying something like, "before you react to my gift, let me explain first why i decided to get you that, ok?" hahaha. little did she know that i was already eyeing this planner when i first saw it on powerbooks' online site.
flipping through the planner's pages, i realized that it is indeed every kikay and go-getter's best companion. aside from the hourly and daily scheduler, there are spaces for "most important tasks" and even an expense tracker and "i'm grateful for" list! talk about setting priorities. what's cooler even is that it has this 2009 Goals page where you can put in your personal life goals, fitness goals (ahem!), financial goals (more ahem!), career goals, habits to start/break and new experience and things to try and learn. isn't it neat or what?
the 2009 Goals page
so if you're still looking for that perfect planner, head to the nearest powerbooks or national bookstore and grab a belle de jour one now.
p.s: this is not a paid ad. hahaha. pictures from the belle de jour website.
