On Mobile Phones, Privacy and Sense of Urgency (?)

i am not so keen about people giving out my mobile number to other people, especially those i don't know. i would appreciate it if before sharing my number, you'd ask for my permission first. just out of courtesy, you know. yes, my current number is a company number so company-related callers with official business are welcome. but still, it wouldn't hurt to let me know you have forwarded my contact details to somebody who needs to get in touch with me or my boss. i more than understand that my position entails it. nor do i mind friends giving my number to other friends or acquaintances--people whom i've actually met and shared some conversations with. i guess my point here is, i don't like people just carelessly throwing my contact number around and sharing it with people i don't really know and don't even have a business-related agenda with me. it's a little annoying.

***

i don't mind getting calls from friends as early as 7am or as late as 12mn. they're my friends, they're always welcome. but non-friends aren't. yeah, i am such a priss but i value my privacy and family time that's why it irks me when i receive calls a little later than the decent hour (that's 9pm for me). again, my phone line is open 24/7 but i'd appreciate it if people would also try to think if their need to talk to me is that urgent (matter of life and death, if beyond 9pm, i say. haha) or not. if yes, then go ahead and give me a ring. if not, then you better wish i am not in a foul mood. even my boss doesn't bother me beyond 6pm not unless it's super duper urgent and he's very apologetic everytime he calls me after office hours or on a weekend. i guess it's just a matter of respecting one's time and privacy.

***

i have a full time career, and that basically means i am occupied for at least 9.6 hours everyday. there are days when i am swamped with work i can hardly comb my hair in place and there are also days when i get bored, i'm ready to jump off from my 8F window to entertain myself. these days though, i am most often busy and can't immediately reply to text messages or answer phone calls. i shuffle from one office to another every hour or so and since both phones are not tied to my waist, i miss a few calls. so my apologies if there are times when i can't get back to you as soon as you want me too. a higher being needs my attention more. and he happens to pay my salary. hahaha. i know, i know, you understand but there are some who cannot, and i wonder why the hell not. i don't think i am ever obliged to reply to every single sms i get asap (sama sa dili pod ko obliged mag comment sa tanang blog entries na akong basahon, but again, that's just me) so it's a trifle irritating for messages like "why aren't you replying?" to litter my inbox. sometimes i am tempted to quip, "because i have a life?" hahaha.

***

well yes, you may say i am somebody who has lots of issues and i don't deny that. and while here i am, ranting about some person's lack of ethics (because all it takes for me to spew a few not-so nice blog entries is really just one person), i am still quite patient and tolerant, if i may so myself. there are just some people who didn't pay attention to their GMRC classes.

Hair Envy

now, if only i'm not so intent in growing my hair long and straight (yeah, just like in the ads. hahaha), i'd want to chop it off to kinda look like katie holmes'.

i'm having what others call as "the shorter line" complex. you know how it seems you're always lining up for the slower cashier while the rest of the lines go faster? then as soon as you transfer counters, you end up waiting longer?

when i had a shorter 'do, i couldn't wait for it to grow so i'd have this lady-like, sunsilk hair. then now that i actually have it, i'm contemplating of having it styled shorter. but then I KNOW, as soon as the novelty of having this chic hair wears off, i'll be wanting a different one again. ppip often tells me that your life only gets complicated if you let it.

maybe i'll stick with long tresses for the meantime. anyway, i have the rest of my life to sport different hairstyles.

El Nino

this picture is of course, not related to what im blabbering about.
i just feel like posting raf's picture here. taken by mai, 02/22/09

for some unknown reason, i can't think of anything to write about. and it's making me frustrated! maybe i can write about sarah and john lloyd's film, which made me laugh and cry like some lunatic last saturday night, but making a film review isn't really my thing. yeah, i think it's better than their first film just because this one kept up with the laugh-emote-laugh cycle. i didn't get bored, in fairness. you changed my life held my attention for the 2 hours and so it ran. and john lloyd didn't even look that hot there. his character suffered major stress because of work so of course, he had to look that part. tao din sya na pumapangit kapag masyado ng demanding ang work and ang lovelife. hahaha. but still, i love him there. there's just something about that boy that makes me smile whenever i think of him. hahaha.

but apart from the movie, i don't know what else to discuss to make your visit here in my blog worthwhile. it's like being on a date with a guy you really, really like and suddenly, your tongue quits on you. then perhaps, this is the time to just shut up and hold each other's hands?

maybe you, yes, you, loyal reader and maybe even you, random stranger who just got my link in another blogger's site, can help me end this drought. why don't you leave a comment and let me know what you think kaithuninterrupted should feature. but uh, no, "just let this blog die because nobody reads you anyway" isn't allowed. hahaha.

happy monday all! :)

Yes, We'd Rather Be In Front of It

mimi and i were talking the past weeks that among the supergirls, it seems that only i, she and chin, haven't caught the photography bug. i, for one, don't have that eye. and two, i can not afford the hobby. hahaha. i guess the best reason for not getting a camera and start clicking and shooting is that, we love to be in front of it than anything else. as i told mai, we are willing victims. hahaha.

so yesterday, chin and i laughed, pouted, and tried to seduce mai's bee. it was charlie's baptism slash photo op slash girl bonding. hurray for happy sundays.

i think mai was telling us to look surprised or to make chicka. she was laughing so hard when she took the photo. hahaha.

what was i thinking with this shot? hahaha.

with charlie (i took her out of the stroller because raf woke her up!), kara, chin and kiss

Smart vs Pretty

i found this cool, feel-good book in fully booked - smart vs pretty. i just wasn't able to buy it because i am quite below the poverty line these days. hehe. growing up, i wondered how it feels to be you know, pretty. or beautiful. or even just plain attractive. those were never adjectives you'd use to describe me some 12 years ago. i was dark-skinned, with boring hair and boring facial features. it didn't help that i always had this snooty look on my face. boys never flocked to me to ask for my name or phone number. they'd come to me to ask for academic help. for the longest time, i wished i was popular because of my long hair or long eyelashes or very pretty face instead of being the editor of the school paper or being one of the top three in our batch. hahaha.

i know, i know! intelligence is still more important than say, gorgeous-ness, but it was only later in college when the term, intelligence is sexy, has been coined. before, being a smart-ass doesn't make boys fall on your feet. well, geeky ones would but really, i never wanted a nerd for a boyfriend. hahaha. your crush might know and admire you for your amazing speed in solving calculus problems but he'd never want a girlfriend smarter than his basketball-dreaming brains.

a lot has changed since college and it's not because i have at least looked human. hahaha. more than one person has observed that i am quite a headturner whenever we'd roam the malls and it's funny how i still had suitors when i was bursting with my first pregnancy. looking back now, i am glad i did well in both academics and extra curricular activities. people give you something more than a pretty face allows. they actually give you respect because you are well, smart. people look up to you because you have something in between your ears and it's not just a seductive pair of eyes. sometimes i get too smug knowing that yes, i have the face and the brains to match. it still amuses me that some get taken aback when i spew sensible sentences and ideas. i reckon they don't usually get that from halter- and short skirt-wearing barbie dolls. hahaha.

now i know better. there's always a cure for plain looking-ness. but there's almost no remedy for being uh, stupid. ang law-ay, may chance pa mag-gwapa. ang ma-ngo, wala na tsansa mag alam. :)

For the Love of Make Up

the colors of love. hahaha. that's me and my tattered sleeping outfit on the mirror.

i love make up! and had i not known one friend who doesn't like make up (at all!), i would say, "what girl doesn't?" but then yes. there's actually one person, and a lady at that, who doesn't get excited over lip gloss, cheek stain and the miracle that is concealer. i was really shocked when she said she's not into it. and that she doesn't even apply powder nor lipgloss when she goes to work. perhaps a little bit of baby powder to remove traces of oil but not pressed powder, blush on and lipstick. well, i am not saying every girl should be a fan of nars, body shop or mac. it just feels weird to know (or maybe it's just really me) that this particular girl hasn't even bought a tube of lipgloss ever since.

my fascination with make up started when i was in high school though i haven't started wearing them until senior college. i just started with the pressed powder and lipgloss combo and my high school best friend always made fun of me. then in college, i had more freedom to use cheek stain and masscara but i have never been the eyeshadow/eyecolor type of girl. i always end up smudging the colors on my eyelids because i have this weird mannerism of touching my eyes and lashes every now and then.

i don't wear much make up to work - just foundation, pressed powder, cheek stain, and lipstick. but when i am home, my face is devoid of anything. i just slather moisturizer all over my face to keep it supple. i rarely go out without at least a hint of lipgloss on my lips or else, i'd look sickly and pale. hahaha. i believe you don't have to go for the more expensive brands, what's more important is that you are hiyang with the product. what's the use of donning the high end products if you're allergic to it? over the years, i have discovered the perfect make up brands for my type of skin and i must say, they don't really create a big dent on my budget. i only have three lipstick tubes in my kikay kit and these are the ones that don't make my lips chappy and dry.

finding the tumpak make up shade and brand is just half of the story. looking for and finding that somebody who can memorize and glamorize every contour of your face is the other half. i am talking about having your make up soulmate - the make up artist who can turn you into a goddess, not the goddess' clown. i, admittedly, don't know how to prettify myself for a major ball or event that's why i am in this constant search for good make up people who won't terrorize my face. thankfully, it seems i have found him/her and that's big thanks to my friend M, who recommended S to me. i am also proud to have the great aileen siroy work her wonders on me during my cousin's wedding in tagaytay last year.

if i have enough time and money, i'd love to learn how to do make up. not really professional make up but at least, higher-than-the-basic-level make up. i know it would be fun and of course, i can save myself, and my friends, money when we need to go somewhere posh and fab. i can blab about make up the whole day and not get tired of it. hahaha. what inspired this entry? it's this amazing make up set given by my boss and his wife as their christmas present to me (picture above). they gave me my first "mini suitcase" two years ago and most of the contents of that suitcase are with my mother already because the colors and texture don't really blend well with my skin. now this second one is just perfect. i love, love the colors. ppip asked me what am i gonna do with all of it and well, a girl just couldn't have enough make up, could she? ;)

Friday Hodgepodge

raf's serious, mura tag-iya sa hacienda look

it's a friday and i can wear what i want to! yay! today i decided to wear my favorite guess skirt to work. i swear it's not that short. and i paired it with the white i blouse i swiped from my sister's closet and the white loafers i bought from carcar. then i completed the i-am-from-highschool look with my new hot pink UCB messenger bag which i carry as a shoulder bag. yes, this used to be my high school ensemble. i usually pair short skirts with either a pair of keds or loafers. i only had one pair of pants pre-college years. hahaha.

i love fridays because it's like having an excuse to wear something you really want. you like to dress down? go! it's friday anyway. you like to wear something dressy? you can! it's friday, the day for night outs and dates. while mondays and thursdays are reserved for the usual slacks and blouses, friday is like the day you can go all out on your wardrobe choice. but it's not like i wear slacks to work anyway. hahaha.

***
somebody has been hounding me since last week. and she's getting on my nerves already although i am trying very hard to be patient with her.

***

raf has been watching too much tv. i should know. he can recite all those commercials with matching intonation and silly smile. his favorite now is the latest coke ad, where the models do this C hand sign and say, "coke syempre." he knows his way around our mac mini and watches curious george, handy manny and mickey mouse everyday. last night, i teased him endless about him looking more like george (george is a monkey, by the way) each day. he was so adamant in saying, "dili oi." hahaha. i love teasing raf because he reacts. then after a few minutes, he'd give in to whatever you're telling him and act all deadma. then again, after a few minutes, he'd take it back and start being pikon again. hahaha. ppip slapped me playfully in the leg because i wouldn't stop laughing and whispering "george" to raf's ear. hahaha. yes, i can be very makulit when i want to.

***

tomorrow will just be spent at home. i am planning to cook carbonara and the husband requested for fruit salad. ah, thank God for fridays. :)

Disclaimer

see that header up there? what does it say? Kaith, Uninterrupted. this blog has my name in bold letters up there. so since this is my blog, i believe i have all the right to write whatever i want and feel appropriate to write as long as it is within the boundaries of internet and blogging ethics, am i correct? and besides, i never, ever, said that this blog is only gonna publish sweet and sunshiny and candy-coated entries. because in all honesty, my life, as half-depicted and described in this blog, is not all sweet, sunshiny and candy-coated because again, shit happens. so, since this blog is basically a chronicle of my mundane, shallow and justkaith existence, which can be happy or sad or flirty or angsty or mad, depending on my mood, you can expect a variety of entries that perfectly reflect how and what i am going through right now.

i don't blog to entertain anyone, except myself. this is my outlet, it's a hobby. it's what i do when i am feeling ecstatic or trashy or whatever. i don't write entries to show off. perhaps at some point i appear as a show off kay teh, ilongga, tikalon kuno. my a$$.

i don't blog to smear anyone's reputation. the only people i name in this blog are my family, and my friends. and nobody, nobody, ever, has the right to assume i am writing about them, or someone else, just because i didn't care to put a name, an initial, and just preferred a pronoun. come on! has anybody ever told you that to assume is to make an a$$ out of u and me? so not unless you see your name, or your friend's, featured in one of my blog entries, never think that i am writing about you or that i am referring to you. because frankly, if your name's not in there, you are not worth it.

i don't want to flatter myself that i have an audience, that some people actually come here on a daily basis to know what i am up to. well, i know the supergirls are always here. hehe. whether or not i have readers, i will keep on blogging. but i will not promise that i'll only write about the good things. because as much as we only want good things to happen, sadness and frustration and disappointment are very much part of life. mine anyway.

so in my quest to record the very real kaith in all her glory (haha!), i also have to jot down the big and little things that make me want to pull out my hair, and make me gnash my teeth until i scream in agony. looking back (or more like reading my archives) always make me realize that i am lucky enough to survive some of life's biggest potholes. i got out of it alive. no, not unscathed, but, roaring for more. that's why i try to still write about some major setbacks because i guess, these setbacks have made me more tough and well, perhaps wiser.

no. i am not mad right now. i just remembered one time when my blog was called, "your precious blog." yeah, it's my precious blog because 1/4 of my life's in here. but, it's not my precious blog because i use it to demean others. honestly, some people really need to get a life.

you know you love me.

Because All Shoes Fit

i've always had this love affair with shoes. whenever my nanay would buy me a new pair (yes, my mother still buys me stuff and how can i refuse? *grins*), she'd fondly recall how as a young girl of 4, i had all these cute slippers and shoes lined up in our room, all screaming to be used and displayed. she'd buy me elfin slippers (i guess those are the ones that have curled toe edges, resembling the shoes elves wear) and butterfly slippers and those white girly shoes that you have to pair with dainty white socks with pink trimmings, whenever my father's allotment would come in. that's one advantage of being the eldest. hahaha.

shoes are one thing i can hardly resist. and what's harder is the fact that well, modesty aside, my feet look good in almost everything! well, except for those thong slip ons that make my toes spread out like yucky chicken feet. hehe. one of my favorite pasttime is window shopping, and trying on pretty slip ons or ballerina flats or fuck me stilettos and admiring my slim feet in the shops' life size mirrors. vanity as its finest.

when i have extra money, of course, there's always a ready justification for a new footwear purchase. but when i am broke like i am now, i never even go inside my favorite shops. it would be heartbreaking to see all these nice items on sale and not being able to buy them. and of course, there's the bet! hehe.

when i saw this template last saturday, i went, "oooh, so pretty and so me!" so despite the hassle of adding all my widgets again (i never got around to learning what codes to copy in my previous template so i can retain my widgets in the new template. perhaps that's what i'd do during the break to save myself the time and effort everytime), i changed my theme.

i don't know how long i can keep myself from buying a new pair of footwear (after december 31, i am free! haha) but looking at the good stash in our living room, and most of them i don't wear that often, it would be sometime before i can say, "hey, wala na koy masuot!"

Guilty?

mukhang guilty! ug nganong ni-enter?

really dear, you have no right. what do they say? don't bite off more than you can chew? instead of fooling around, you could've spent your precious time learning a new skill/hobby. or exfoliating your skin to make it glow, not sallow. or losing weight.

ta-ta.

Will Dance for Shopping Money

one way to drive the blues away: dance it, rock it like there's no tomorrow.

currently swaying to the way i are, shut up and let me go, glamorous and disturbia. one of the perks of not having the bosses around is that i am able to turn up the music. the silence and emptiness is deafening so it's quite nice to have danceable music to keep me company. but no, i am not giving the public a full show.

more partying later. yes, it's friday! happy weekend! *big grin*

Feeling the Blues. Blues, Blues

i've been feeling very melancholic lately. and it's not even because i am broke! i feel sad. i feel lonely despite having raf with us now. this started when my parents and andi left. and for a while, i thought it's just one of those drama queen moments. i may be just homesick. i tried writing to take my mind off this weird sadness but it creeps back again, taunting, testing my patience. even the thought of shopping for gifts failed to brighten my spirits. and that's when i realized that no, this will not just go away until i acknowledge it. until i tell myself that yes, i am sad. boo hoo sad.

ate ai told me once that sadness, like happiness, should also be embraced because that's when and how we'll value the good and happy moments of our lives.

so maybe i'd be in this state for a while. i am sad but i am not miserable so wallowing in this thick soup of coldness isn't really something to be worried about. my happiness is just vacationing somewhere. i should learn to let it go sometimes.

Because I Want This So Badly

the mere fact that i am blogging about it, and posting a picture as well, just shows how much i really want it. i don't care if i'd get the new one or old one, as long as we'll have our own. driving the new one felt so good and i was so at home with it that i was hesitant to let it go. yes, i suck at parking bigtime but for a new car, i'm willing to practice diagonal parking everyday! even with ppip barking instructions at me left and right. i don't know. i don't have any trouble getting out of a traffic jam and as well as parallel or nose in or nose out straight parking but with diagonal parking, i am such a loser. nevertheless.

i am writing this down because the supergirls say when you want something so badly, you don't only wish hard for it. you also write about it. i am crossing my fingers and toes.

Drats!

i need to write something and i only have two days (yes, two amazingly short days) to finish it. and work's piling up and the weekend's kinda full that i'm not sure if i'll have the strength (and dedication) to come up with a decent script even if they'd extend the deadline. inspiration, where are you when i need you the most??

deym writer's block. and i'm not even a writer. sheesh.

ps: the only consolation though is that i got something for my event already. mheme, thanks again for the time and patience. hahaha.

I Am Married to Him...

...and to him only. as much as he is married to me, and to me only.

we're taking our time, spending every possible minute together, before we become "parents" again and not merely "husband and wife" or "lovers." it's amazing how when we go to the mall, we don't only look for shoes and clothes and gadgets, but we check out furniture (like this really nice double-deck which we think would perfectly fit the kids' room) and other stuff for the house. sometimes though, we just cringe at how expensive household stuff are. but at least, we can now allocate bonuses and incoming extra money for these useful things, and not just buy "expensive pants yet not buy a shoerack." duh. hehehe.

this weekend is reserved for plantation bay's christmas tree lighting ceremony, as well as twilight. *swoon* it's a three-day weekend as well so yay for rest and endless laag. last weekend was spent at the outpost with two more couples, chin*wett and kiss*cyrus and i am hoping we can do it again because it's so much fun listening to the husbands' tirades and complaints. hahaha.

while marriage can be quite complicated at times, it feels good to have that somebody beside you when the rest of the world turns its back on you.

please don't mind the huge-ness of my face. at least, gwapa ko. hahaha.

Like A Veeeergin

last night, my neighbors were singing songs of praise and worship while i was ym-ing and multiply-ing.  i didn't mind, i even sang along with them.  those are songs i have loved and sang with great fervor because i was part of the church choir in highschool.  that's a trivia! :)

now, at 12:51PM, while writing my post below, somebody was belting out "like a virgin," only that virgin comes out as veeeergin.  can you imagine how she sounds like??  LOL.  now, it's MLTR for you. "though you've traveled suuu far, boy, i'm sorey you are, twenty payb menets toooo leyttttt."  our singer just started on celine dion's "all by myself."  it's gonna be a long afternoon if i won't fall asleep. *grins*

now, our subdivision is definitely brimming with talents.  i won't be surprised if one day, talent agents would come a'flocking, looking for the banda that entertains (and annoys, i tell ya) their neighbors every weekend.  i hope these agents would arrive before the police though.  hahaha.

oh, what a lovely way to spend my saturday.  musikahan na!

It's A Deal!

so, i made a bet with friends Y and G. or rather, they made a bet with me. because they couldn't believe that i wouldn't buy anything for myself this christmas! hahaha. if they win, i have to treat them to a dinner buffet at marco polo. but if i win, i can choose wherever they would treat me for dinner.

this is gonna be fun! i do intend to prove to them that i actually have self control when it comes to shopping. and what's so funny is that for the longest time before and after i gave birth to raf, i didn't buy anything for myself! it was my mother who bought stuff for me because we were too poor to buy a pair of shoes or a bag. and it went on for a year. so i surely wouldn't have any trouble keeping tabs on the things i have to let go for a month right? hahaha.
and secondly, as i mentioned in my post yesterday, budget is really tough for the next months so even if i'd want something, i wouldn't have the moolah to buy it because really, andi is drinking so much milk! hehehe. they are so confident because in the past months, i accumulated so much shoes and books and clothes that they think i am this obsessed shopaholic who'd die of heartbreak if i can't buy that purple flats. i am proud to say that yes, i am a shopaholic but i know what i must buy first before anything else. i also splurge when i am rich, not when i am cash strapped. that's why i didn't go to ayala's mallwide sale. i know when to spoil myself, and i also know when to stop the urge.

however, the bet doesn't cover the things i'll buy for ppip, the kids, and my friends.

so now i am already thinking which resto they can take me to when december 31 rolls around and all i have are actually just gifts from family and friends.

Of Budgets, Lost Mirrors and Kaith Sashes

Budget Blues
i've always dreaded doing budgets - may it be personal or business. although i am quite good at it. i never miss anything out and i often end up saving on something. the thing with budgets though is that almost always somebody wants and has to slash it. and you have to re-do it and scrimp and save every single centavo.

i did our househould budget for the remaining months of 2008 and for the first quarter of 2009 and boy, was i slumped. we have to do major belt-tightening until april, especially that we'll have andi by january and raf would start school by june. therefore, i super seriously resolve not to buy anything for me for christmas. this is the least i can do. and i'd tell my husband also not to give me anything fancy or expensive because my mind can't help but whir and spurt figures as to how much we could have saved if he didn't get me this particular item. hahaha.

i know this will be real challenge but i'd rather have more food on the table and a comfortable and renovated house than splurge on some "wants" this christmas. anyway, my parents will be here by december so maybe they can spend on some of my wishlist items. hahaha. if not, i'd stop the urge to sulk. i mean, just the fact that andi's with them and they're more than willing to shell out some amount when her monthly allowance isn't enough is already a great help.

so now, tell me, who wants to be in my shoes?

Mirror, Mirror, Where Are You?
i change pressed powder brands every month but it's only between maybelline, clean and clear, neutrogena, and the body shop. i am quite lucky that my face isn't that choosy and sensitive that i can try any new product in the market and be not afraid of waking up with horrible skin the next day. although i'd know after a day or two if this particular powder is great for my face or not.

a friend recommended the new pond's pressed powder and always-itching-to-try-new-stuff me immediately bought a compact last week. well, the color and texture is perfect and it has a really nice smell so i thought i hit jackpot the first time i used it. although when i saw its price, i was kinda turned off because it is quite expensive considering that it's just a local brand. okay, it's only P200 but clean and clear is only P100+. and maybelline is P199. yes, i am a spendthrift like that. hahaha.

it has always been my ritual before i leave for lunch to retouch. working on emails and phone calls has a way of leaving my skin oily and blech. hahaha. now when i opened my new pond's powder earlier, i was flabbergasted to find out that it doesn't have a mirror! my gawd, i can't believe it! a pressed powder without a mirror! and at P207! maybe i am overreacting but hello, even a cheap fanbo at P80 has a mirror! ahm, please don't mind the exclamation points. i was that surprised actually. hehehe.

so now i couldn't think of having a compact without a mirror. or getting a teeny weeny mirror and holding it up while i powder my nose. it's just...wrong.

Kaith Sashes Over at BoredAndCrafty
a few months ago, i asked yam if she can make me sashes or ribbons that i can use to accessorize my plain dresses. i have several ones that need a little splash of color not only to brighten them up but also to create shape. so she came up with her very own Kaith Sashes!

check these sashes out as well as her other new items over at her online shop: http://boredandcrafty.multiply.com.

Happy November 17th All! :)

On Jologs Mode: John Lloyd Cruz

my husband is so gonna kill me for this.  but you know, he doesn't read my blog anyway.  not unless somebody "squeals" on me.  but anyway, even if he sees this, he won't go on a jealous rampage.  that's just not him.  hahaha.  besides, i married him, not john lloyd anyway.  despite the proposal from somebody who so closely resembles this "a very special love" cutie.  chismis!  hahaha.

anyway, the reason i am posting this john lloyd-in-pink picture is that i watched "a very special love" on dvd and i can't help but be kilig and  feel giddy all over again.  i've never really liked john lloyd before.  he wasn't cute then and gawd, the nose!  hahaha.  but i just woke up one day finding him really likeable and adorable and absolutely kilig material.  hahaha. geez, i am sounding like a thirteen-year old who just discovered the joys of having a crush.  my children shouldn't be reading this.  hahaha.

this is what really happens when you're broke and bored to the tips of your so un-rebonded hair.  you recycle old movies, have your husband catch you smiling all by yourself while watching said movie, eat, sleep and then feel guilty for being such a lazy pig, and just vow that you're never gonna overspend again.  even if that means ignoring all new super pretty items from schu.

i promise, we'll drink and party till we drop next weekend.  ta-ta now!  gossip girl is on next.  happy birthday again our dear mimi. :D
